The Artist Esther Henselmans is a Sedona based artist who was schooled in the Netherlands and started her creativity in Harlem, New York. Her desire to paint was cultivated from a young age and motivated by her father, who was an architect and painter in the Netherlands. Her work is inspired by Georgia O'Keefe and the Canadian Group of Seven. Esther has a unique, colorful, abstract modern Folk Art style.
Esther paints mainly with acrylics and uses various other mixed media in her work. She has had an exposition for an International Bank in New York in 2014 and her home and studios are located in Harlem, New York and Sedona, Arizona.
